What makes Akira’s live resin unique?
Concentrated hemp is an ultra-potent and powerfully purified type of hemp that comes in many different forms. The incredibly high levels of pure CBD that hemp concentrates are able to achieve are what set these apart from other forms of the plant. Hemp concentrates are known for their efficiency and effectiveness and are high value, so you get more “bang for your buck.”
Concentrates can be used with an E-rig, classic water pipe with a high-quality quartz banger, vaporizer, or one of our Akira Botanicals vape cartridges.
You can also combine live resin with flower by topping a bowl or sprinkling some in with your joints. Concentrates can also be used to infuse powerful medicinal flavor into tea and other drinkables and edibles.
The genetics at Akira Botanicals are selected for unique, high-terpene profiles to provide a pleasurable vaping experience for the user. Quality control is maintained at every step of the process to ensure terpene retention in the final product.
All of our concentrates come from flower grown organically in living soil on our farm in the Appalachian Mountains. Our microclimate is that of a temperate rainforest with late-night temperature swings and a host of insects to keep the plants on their toes.
Terpenes are produced by the plant as a defense mechanism against pests. Just the right amount of stress in the right environment will produce the terpiest buds. Fire in, Fire out.
Dabbing or vaping with hemp concentrates quickly offers a full-bodied effect that can help to relax and recharge the body, mind, and spirit. Calmative and sedating without impairing normal function, concentrates can aid in occasional sleeplessness, mood swings, stress, discomfort, and more.
Concentrated hemp contains high levels of many different cannabinoids and terpenes which conduct and influence a huge range of functions within our physiology including inflammation, musculoskeletal sensation, memory function, and endocrine and digestive system regulation.
The high-terpene content of our extracts allows for a greater effectiveness than an extract that focuses primarily on cannabinoid content, such as CBD isolate. This is due to the ‘Entourage Effect’ of full-spectrum concentrates.
Terpenes modulate the effect of the cannabinoids. That is to say, if the cannabinoids are the vehicle, the terpenes are the driver. The effects of the concentrate will be largely determined by the terpene makeup of the plant, rather than its taxonomy (indica/sativa).
Therefore an extract that is high in limonene will be associated with an uplifting, energetic effect, whereas one high in myrcene will be better known for that ‘couch lock’ effect.
Our terpene-rich waxes, crumbles, resins, and other hemp concentrates offer all of the relaxing and relieving benefits of CBD, but because they contain many times the amount of CBD than non-concentrated forms, they are more robust and offer faster onset.
We ship our CBD and CBG concentrates to all 50 states.
Yes! We take our same high quality concentrates and liquefy it using a proprietary process to ensure the flavor is unadulterated. Our cartridges are free of any additives including added terpenes to give you the the purest expression of the flower in an easy ready for use package. We use 510 thread CCELL cartridges to handle our thick potent oils and make the consumer experience easier.
Our concentrates are generally stable up to 75 degrees in a low light, low oxygen environment with some fluctuation due to terpene content. We recommend refrigerator storage for up to six months and freezer storage for longer. Sauces are most sensitive to temperature fluctuations. When removing from refrigeration let your live resin reach room temperature before opening to avoid moisture buildup.
